If you haven’t spotted it yet, big things are happening at Mad Lilies. We've moved—just up the road, to the sunnier side of the street, right opposite Waitrose. And let me tell you, it’s not just a move—it’s a moment. Our doors are open, and we're ready to wow you with our fabulous new space.

No. 127 High Street is now officially the new destination for anyone with an eye for style and a love for all things beautiful.

Inside, you’ll find more than just florals. Our lush new plant haven will bring the outdoors into your home, filling it with life and vibrancy. We have a new card wall which is bursting full of cards with personality and are so excited to now have an ever-evolving tablescape that changes weekly to keep your creativity sparked.

But let’s talk about the heart of it all—The Gathering Room, our brand-new creative hub. It’s where our floristry workshops will fire up your imagination and teach you skills you didn’t even know you had. And don't get us started on our swoon-worthy homewares and beauty brands. Everything is carefully curated, from British artisan tableware to irresistible new candle ranges. Mad Lilies isn’t just a shop anymore—it’s a whole experience.

So, pop the kettle on and settle in, because we've got lots to share…

High Street Charm: Why We Adore Banstead

Banstead High Street is a hidden gem—an authentic slice of Surrey with a true village feel, nestled next to the rolling hills of Epsom Downs. This isn’t about the flash and dazzle; it’s about community, warmth, and character.

Mad Lilies Village Florist, adding some charm to the high street

Independent shops line the streets alongside familiar faces like Waitrose and M&S, and the sense of local pride is palpable. It's a place where people know each other by name, and businesses like ours have a real connection to the community.

More Space, More Magic: What's New at Mad Lilies

So, why the move? Simply put—we needed room to grow. Our homeware collection is ever-expanding, and our love for houseplants has blossomed into a full-blown obsession. But that’s not all. With double the floor space, we’ve built a florist workbench right inside the shop, so you can watch our talented florists at work.

Our Flower Bar is a pick 'n' mix for grown-ups

We've also expanded our flower and foliage range to include even more quintessential country garden blooms and lush greenery. Fancy getting hands-on? Our Flower Bar is a pick 'n' mix for grown-ups—select your own blooms, and we’ll spiral them into a hand-tied bouquet while you wait.

A Fresh Look: Our Reinvigorated Branding

We’ve elevated not just our space but our brand too. With the creative expertise of Pale Blue Dot in Belfast, we’ve completely refreshed our look, voice, and overall feel—so it truly reflects the essence of who we are. This isn’t just about a logo; it’s about our story, and it’s a story we think you’ll love.

Pale Blue Dot helped us dive deep into understanding how you, our wonderful customers, see us. Together, we’ve crafted a brand strategy that speaks from our heart, celebrating what you tell us you love most about Mad Lilies, and  hopefully draws in like-minded souls who share our passion for style and creativity.

After many insightful focus groups and customer interviews, here’s the Brand Narrative that Pale Blue Dot created for us:

…There’s a florist on the High Street in Banstead. There’s a lifestyle and homewares store, a social hub, a gin appreciation society, and the village telegraph, too. They’re all at the same address, all open pretty much every day, but all far from ordinary. Stocked with the most beautiful local blooms and staffed by the loveliest people, Mad Lilies is already a village institution. It’s as different each day as the people who walk through the door, as fresh as the flowers delivered from the best growers, and as full of joy as the shelves brimming with must-have homewares. The original Lily, an inspirational florist, was the grandmother of the current founder. Two generations later, the current Lily doesn’t share the name, but she does share the same passion for beautiful blooms, artisan creativity, delighted customers, and a touch of cheeky charm.

The Better The Flowers, The Greater The Memory
