Wow! We're still on our high from last Thursday night when we were awarded national 'High Street Hero' in The Small Awards. We attended the virtual event over Zoom along with around 100 other businesses and even had a surprise visit ... Grant from TSB (who sponsored the category) came to present us with our award (after hiding in the woods so we wouldn't spot him... that's dedication right there!)
It means so much to us to be recognised for our role in our community, especially given how passionate we are about the Banstead High Street and the wider Surrey community. We've recently renewed our lease for another five years, although some would have had a strong argument for us operating behind closed doors... as we have for much of the last year... we just couldn't leave the High Street and you, the customers that we love so much!
This award really is a testament to the whole Mad Lilies team, who have taken everything the last year has thrown at them and pulled together to keep going ... continuing to create stunning floral displays to spread joy to our customers.
Finally... thank you to you. We categorically would not have survived the last year without you, our loyal customers. We will be forever grateful.
